Sketch Saturday #407 card 2

Good evening crafty friends.
Hope your having a fabulous evening.

This is my second card for sketch Saturday. Visited The craft show at Ally Pally on Sunday with my Daughter and my best friend, we had a chat with the lovely ladies at Honeydoo stamps, while there I was looking at all the stamps and thought to myself I'll use a Honeydoo set for my next sketch Saturday card. So on my return home an idea popped into my head. Last night I sat down in my kitchen and set to making the card.

Distress inked the background with seedless preserves and shabby shutters. Then inked some pearlescent card with the same colours. Used Honeydoo bottle of vine and wine vine stamps. Used black and Purple Mirri card for mat and layering. Turned design 45 degrees for this card.

Sketch Saturday # 407

Good evening all.
Hope you have had a wonderful day.
I was ready and waiting for the new sketch this morning. Wanted to make something bright and pretty to cheer myself up. Love this weeks sketch. Got my little sketch book out and planned out what stamps I could use was very happy with my first Idea, so went with that one.

Background inked with distress inks pickled raspberry, squeezed lemonade and carved pumpkin. Hexagon stamp is stamping up six sided sampler. Stamped then used memory box stitched layer hexagon dies. They fit perfectly. Embossed background with embossalicious honeycomb patchwork folder. After sprinkling a bit of water on background for extra embellishment, used Jofy honeycomb, sentiment and bee stamp. Hope this card inspires crafters out there.

This weeks sketch.

Eileen's workshop.

Had a fantastic day at the workshop on Saturday. Loved all the techniques that Eileen shared with us today. Love the way the cards always turn out. Using 2 of my cards for my granddaughters birthday. Backgrounds were inked with distress inks. Then used sweet poppy stencils in foreground one using dark ink the other using dimension paste and glitter.
