It's been a very busy week this week, back to work after the half term holiday, lots of meetings and technical jobs to do. Also a nice 21st cake to do in the evenings. The cake is for a friends son, who plays in the Arsenal youth team (so he could be famous one day) asked for a signed photo of him cutting the cake just in case!!
Enjoyed making the cake as I've not done one like this before. Really should of taken a better photo.

Found out about this technique at Oyster stamps. Never heard about it before but liked the idea! I googled the technique and then watched a couple of you tube videos, and decided to give it a try!! So my great crafting friend came on Sunday and we both gave it a go it was great bouncing all the ideas we were having of one another.
We loved the technique and was very pleased with the finished results. Will be doing a lot more of these in future. It's a great technique to use for men's cards as well.
Here are my finished projects.
Hope you like the cards. I would recommend trying out this technique to all stamping lovers.

Then cut out of Mirror card to represent wire, placed on cream coloured card and coloured using spectrum noir pens. Cut darts out of mat silver card silver mirror card and plain red card, based the darts on my dads set. Wrote the sentiment with a white pencil on black card to represent a chalkboard.
