Busy week!
It's been a very busy week this week, back to work after the half term holiday, lots of meetings and technical jobs to do. Also a nice 21st cake to do in the evenings. The cake is for a friends son, who plays in the Arsenal youth team (so he could be famous one day) asked for a signed photo of him cutting the cake just in case!!
Enjoyed making the cake as I've not done one like this before. Really should of taken a better photo. I also made his card. Cut the footballs and the numbers on the brother scan n cut. Made the border by welding footballs together.

Soot stamping technique.
Found out about this technique at Oyster stamps. Never heard about it before but liked the idea! I googled the technique and then watched a couple of you tube videos, and decided to give it a try!! So my great crafting friend came on Sunday and we both gave it a go it was great bouncing all the ideas we were having of one another.
We loved the technique and was very pleased with the finished results. Will be doing a lot more of these in future. It's a great technique to use for men's cards as well.
Here are my finished projects.
Hope you like the cards. I would recommend trying out this technique to all stamping lovers.
