Crafting retreat Daventry.

Had a great time at the Oyster stamps retreat in Daventry. 3rd time I have attended the retreat with my best friend Tracy, 2nd time her mum has come along. We had an absolutely fantastic time even though we were all feeling under the weather.  The workshops were fantastic, learnt a lot. The first cards I would like to share are the cards made at Eileen Godwins workshop.
We used a circle template to do the background then we had a choice of stamps to use I used the studio 949 flower stamp and design by ryn butterfly. I used glossy accents on the flower petals to give it a raised look. Was very pleased with the finished cards.

Sunflowers for a 50th.

Made this card and coasters for a friends 50th birthday. First time I've made the coasters they took me three weeks to complete. I was really pleased with the end result. The sunflower stamp was one that I brought when I first started crafting. It is papermania Build a sunflower stamp. I stamped the image onto yellow and brown pearl card then heat embossed it with gold embossing powder. Cut the lettering out on scan n cut. The ivy was cut using the sue wilson die.
Spectrum Noir colours used CT1, CT3, Gb4, TN3, TN5, EB6.
